Who We Are

More than a supporters club. We're a community.

Dubai Mags is the official home of Newcastle United supporters in Dubai.

Our roots go back to 2009, when Newcastle fans first connected through Facebook and began meeting informally across the city. By 2010, a small group including Neil, Wayne and Julie were regulars at Centre Circle, building the foundations of what would eventually become Dubai Mags.

Following Newcastle's takeover and the return of regular matchday gatherings after COVID, the group grew rapidly. Supporters including Rajeev, Carly, Andy Gibbins, Dougie and many others helped grow the community, with around 55 fans attending regularly by the end of the 2021/22 season.

As the fanbase continued to expand, Dubai Mags was officially established, introducing membership cards, organised events and a dedicated supporters' club for Newcastle fans across the UAE. Today, Dubai Mags proudly brings together Geordies and Newcastle supporters from all backgrounds to share their passion for the Toon, thousands of miles from St James' Park.

Julie's Dubai Mags Flag – Around the World Since 22/23

Julie's Dubai Mags Flag has become one of our most recognisable traditions. First created in the 22/23 season, it's the famous flag we update each year to showcase the nationalities of the current Newcastle United squad — a living symbol of our global identity and support.

Since its debut, the flag has travelled the world with our supporters, flying proudly in: Singapore, Australia, South Korea, USA, Japan, Germany, and of course St James' Park. Wherever the club goes, the flag goes — representing Dubai Mags and the worldwide Toon Army.
